CPR Classes

Natural State Wild Med provides CPR, First Aid, AED, and Basic Life Support training for individuals, families, schools, businesses, healthcare professionals, and community organizations throughout Central Arkansas.

In addition to our wilderness medicine programs, we provide medical training for emergencies that happen at home, at school, at work, and in the community. Courses may include CPR, AED use, choking response, bleeding control, emergency assessment, first aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS), with certification options available for qualifying courses.

Whether you need CPR certification for employment, first aid training for your staff, medical preparedness for your organization, or simply want the confidence to respond during an emergency, Natural State Wild Med provides practical, hands-on instruction focused on skills you can actually use.

Natural State Wild Med is an approved training site aligned with Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas, an American Heart Association Training Center.

With two available, certified instructors on staff, we are able to offer AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver®. Course descriptions are below and more information is available at the AHA website.

Scheduled courses will be offered and available for sign up here. We are based in Central Arkansas, but will travel to meet your needs anywhere in the state. You may also contact us if you would like to schedule on-site training for your group or organization.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

The American Heart Association’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. The course reflects science and education from the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Heartsaver®

The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver® portfolio delivers first aid, CPR, AED, and safety training for anyone—at work, school, or home. Successful completion earns a two-year course completion card.
