Teachers and school staff may be the first adults called upon when a student experiences a medical emergency. Natural State Wild Med provides specialized medical emergency, First Aid, CPR, and safety training for Arkansas teachers, educators, school employees, coaches, childcare professionals, and youth leaders.
Our educator-focused training goes beyond basic first aid by applying emergency skills to situations that can occur in classrooms, cafeterias, playgrounds, athletic activities, buses, field trips, and school events. Training can address CPR and AED use, choking, bleeding and injury management, emergency patient assessment, common school medical emergencies, emergency action planning, field-trip preparedness, and response when multiple students or staff members may need assistance.
Natural State Wild Med works with public schools, private schools, homeschool organizations, childcare programs, youth programs, and educational organizations throughout Central Arkansas. Customized on-site school safety and medical training can be developed around the needs of an individual campus, district, or organization..
Teachers may not be medical professionals, but they are first responders by proximity. This course equips school personnel with the clarity, confidence, and practical skills needed to act decisively in the critical minutes before professional medical care arrives.
